Chandler started out playing tee-ball when he was only 3. He then went on to baseball, basketball & football, but he has never had such a passion as he does for racing. He's always been very competitive and strives to do the best at everything he does. His goal is to continue through the ranks of racing and drive in the Nascar Series someday.
In March of 2008, Chandler started out racing Go-Karts at the age of 5 in Chatsworth Ga. He started out in the Beginner Purple Class winning his first race on March 16, 2008 and having several top 3 finishes. He later moved up to the Purple Plate Class where he raced with several kids that were a lot older and bigger than him, and he did very well.
In late August 2008, he decided to race something more challenging and moved on to racing Quarter Midgets out of the Metro Atlanta Quarter Midget Association in Lanier. He was a late starter in this type of racing, but did very well right from the start. Chandler learned quickly and captured his first win in Junior Novice after just 3 races. After winning, he was determined to be the best he could be! He ended the short season winning several races and top 3 finishes in just 2 1/2 months before the season was over.
Chandler started off the 2009 season racing Junior Honda & Junior Stock. He has had several top 3 finishes and won his first Junior Honda race on August 8, 2009 and his Junior Stock on March 21, 2009. He has gone to all of the Region 3 Races and finished in the top 10. He then started racing for the points in the Region 3 Races, and the MAQMA points at Lanier.
At the end of the 2009 season Chandler finished 1st in his Jr. Stock & 3rd in his Jr. Honda in the MAQMA points race. He finished 2nd in his Jr. Stock & 7th in his Jr. Honda overall in the Region 3 points races.
Chandler started out the 2010 season with a big win during the first USAC race in North Carolina winning in his Jr. Honda. He later claimed the Eastern Division Championship at MAQMA in all 3 of his cars!
On June 27 he traveled to Mini Indy in Indiana to compete for the National Title. On June 29 he shattered the track record with a 6.1730 in his Jr. Stock. Later that week he became the National Champion of 2010 in Jr. Stock!!!
He finished up the USAC Generation Next 2010 Season with the National Championship in both Jr. Honda & Jr. Stock and finished 5th in his Jr. Animal.
